BioAfter graduating from a Seven Sisters college, I went on the expected track: office job in a large city with an eye to finding a significant other and building a nest egg before grad school. Well, the significant other failed to materialize, I hate office work, and the whole city thing was a disaster. So now, I'm escaping both the East Coast and leaving the Midwest for, if not greener, then at least warmer climes. I'm armed with 6 years lifeguarding experience, a love of scuba, a host of grad school apps to submit, and a burning desire to explore another hemisphere.
